I think that teaching is an unique profession which is applied with a lot of effort. I cannot imagine what it must be like standing in front of the class for eight or nine hours on a daily basis. Especially dealing with tiresome students seems impossible to me. I was completely ignorant of the amount of time teachers work per week. When I read that it can lead up to fifty hours I was surprised. I thought that being a student was difficult, but being a teacher is not exactly easy either. I also think that all these factors should be taken into consideration, and that I should have been more toughtfull to some teachers.

Teachers have a hard job sure, but the goverment makes it hard on them aswell.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLong work hours, minimum pay, and a lot of stress. Honestly, who would want to be a teacher under those three conditions? I think education should be valued more then it is. Teachers should be provided with a better work place and less stress and maybe even a rise in their pay check, this way more people will want to become teachers and so the long hours will also fade away!
I agree with Marlot. How can you make teaching an appealing job when there are so much nasty sides to it? teachers work really hard and spend a lot of free time to examine tests as well. I think the goverment should treat their teachers well, since a lot of teachers want to quit their jobs. The goverments just seems to dig its own grave by showing no appreciation for teachers.
